Harold Trigg
Salesman & General Manager
Harold is 100% customer focused. The selling gene has been identified in his DNA and he has over 37 years sales and marketing experience in the apparel industry with Soma. Harold has a sound knowledge of knit fabrics from 22 years managing associate company NZ Knitting Mills and a large industry network for sewing fabric, components and technical advice. Harold was appointed to leadership of Soma following the death of founder in 1982 and he is a board member representing Apparel manufacture on the Apparel and Textile Organisation (ATITO).
Tracy Danvers
Factory Manager
Tracy has a comprehensive knowledge of the garment assembly process and able to do any job in the factory – design – pattern making – sampling – costing – cutting – sewing. She has developed sound documented production and costing systems and standards for the factory and can create a sample from your description, sketch, picture or sample. Nothing phases Tracy and she is always looking for the cheapest, quickest method to manufacture. She has an indepth knowledge of knit fabrics and their performance characteristics and superb garment construction skills to assist customers.
Desiree Persen
Factory Supervisor
Desiree has a lifetimes experience in the sewing trade with a great depth of knowledge over a wide range of garment types. She also has excellent garment construction and assembly skills and is comfortable with wovens or knits. Desiree is highly respected for her knowledge by the team she leads and she is continually focused on meeting customer quality standards and delivery deadlines.
Karen Mantell-Harding
Administration and Customer Service
Karen is strongly customer focused and she enjoys building rapport with customers and keeping them informed and happy. Karen is our inhouse computer expert with a focus on meeting customer deadlines, undertaking despatch of the garments and preparing packing slips and invoices.
